“Progress is the cure.”
Today started rough emotionally. One of those mornings where I wanted my life to be different—right now. When I get in this mood, it feels like everything and everyone is in my way. But I’m learning that frustration doesn’t mean failure.
In therapy, I’ve been practicing surfing—letting emotions play out without acting on them. It’s not easy, but today I put that into practice. Instead of sitting in frustration, I went to the gym. And I’m glad I did.
I saw real progress:
✔️ Stronger in my pull-ups (consistency is paying off)
✔️ More control in my handstand push-ups (stability = deeper range)
That small win shifted everything. I’m not “healed” from my frustration, but I feel better. I’m reminded that I control my future—and the best cure for feeling stuck is taking one step forward.
A year from now, if I keep showing up daily, I’ll be further ahead than I ever imagined.
